The feedback board

The feedback board is where Checkpoint’s roadmap gets argued about in public. Anyone can read it; posting, voting and commenting need a Checkpoint account — the same one you use for the app.

Posting an idea

New idea, then a title and a description. While you type, the board shows ideas that already look similar — worth a glance, because an existing idea with votes behind it carries further than a second copy of it.

You can edit or delete anything you posted, idea or comment, at any time.

Voting and discussion

The arrow beside an idea is a vote; click it again to take it back. One vote per person, and the count is what sorts the board when you pick Most votes. You can also sort by newest, or search — the search matches translations too, so an idea written in Ukrainian still turns up for an English query.

Status

Each idea carries a status, set by the Checkpoint team:

• Open — read, not yet decided
• Planned — going to be built
• In progress — being built now
• Done — shipped
• Declined — not going to happen

Email updates

Post an idea, or comment on someone else’s, and you’ll get an email when that thread gains a comment or changes status — including the one everyone actually wants, “your idea is now Planned”. You never get email about your own comments.

To watch an idea you haven’t posted on, open it and press Follow. The same button says Following once you do, and turns it off again.

Every one of these emails carries an unsubscribe link that stops mail about that one idea, without touching anything else and without asking you to log in. Following again later is one click from the board.

Your own language

Ideas and comments are machine-translated into all six languages Checkpoint speaks, so you can write in yours and read everyone else in yours. Where you’re reading a translation the board says so, and Show original gives you the author’s own words.
