For organizers
Put on a training or a competition without special infrastructure: no electronic control units to buy, charge and collect, no separate services for entries, timing and results. Each athlete’s own smartphone does the punching.
Create an eventCreate courses — or import the ones you have
Section titled “Create courses — or import the ones you have”Lay out a course by clicking controls directly on the map, overlay your club’s own scanned map, or import a GPX track. Already drawing in Purple Pen or OCAD? Import the IOF XML file and the course is ready to run — and every course exports back out the same way (IOF XML or MapRun KML).

Registration that manages itself
Section titled “Registration that manages itself”Open entries and set a limit; once the event is full, further entries join a waitlist and move up automatically as people withdraw. Teams count for the number of people on them, with minimum and maximum sizes enforced at entry. Need to reach the field? Message all entrants at once — an announcement under the event’s name, or an ordinary message they can answer privately.

Watch the event live
Section titled “Watch the event live”Once the event is running, every athlete’s position and punches stream onto the course map — each runner in their own colour, with filters for finished and unfinished. You see who is where, who has punched what, and who might need attention, in real time.

Results without a results desk
Section titled “Results without a results desk”Times, standings and splits build themselves as runners finish. The leaderboard is public from the first finisher; who may open an individual’s track and splits is up to you and each athlete’s own privacy settings.
Built around your club
Section titled “Built around your club”Events and courses belong to your club: manage members and roles, keep club maps private, and let members form teams. One platform for the Tuesday training and the championship alike.
